01Overview

QR Card Pro is operated by Ayush Shah. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you create QR codes, publish digital visiting cards, create an account, or purchase a package.

This policy covers QR Card Pro and its related website and services. It describes the features in the application; optional payment and email services apply only when enabled and used.

02Information we collect

The information processed depends on the features you choose to use:

• Account details. Your name, email address, and a hashed version of your password when you register. Password-reset and account-security information may also be processed.
• Digital visiting cards. Details you provide, such as your name, job title, company, phone number, email, website, address, biography, social links, and profile photo.
• QR content. The website URL, text, telephone number, email address, or Wi-Fi details you enter to generate a QR code. QR generation and history are handled on your device.
• Payments and orders. Your email, selected package, amount, order status, payment identifiers, and a UPI transaction reference when you submit one.
• Activity records. Records of account, card, download, payment, and administrative actions used to operate and protect the service.
• Communications. Information you voluntarily include when you contact us for support or a privacy request.

03How we use your information

We use information to provide and maintain the services you request, including to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate access.
• Generate QR codes and create, display, and update digital visiting cards.
• Process purchases, verify payments, and manage download or package entitlements.
• Send payment confirmations, password-reset emails, and other service communications when email delivery is enabled.
• Respond to enquiries, investigate issues, and detect misuse or unauthorised activity.
• Maintain operational records and meet applicable legal obligations.

04QR codes & device storage

QR codes are generated on your device. Your QR history is stored locally rather than as a server-side history. A generation event may be recorded separately for operational purposes; this is different from uploading your QR history.

The app uses browser or device storage for QR history, authentication tokens, and digital-card editing keys. On supported native devices, authentication tokens use secure storage. These items support sign-in, history, and card management.

You can clear QR history in the app. Clearing browser or app storage also removes locally saved information and may sign you out or remove access to locally saved card-editing keys.

A QR code exposes its encoded content to anyone who scans it. Share QR codes containing personal details or Wi-Fi credentials only with people you trust.

05Public digital visiting cards

Published digital visiting cards can be viewed by anyone who has their public link or QR code. The profile details and photo you include are intended to be shared publicly, and viewers may copy or share them.

Only include details you are comfortable making public. Card-editing keys are not included in the public card view. Selecting a profile photo may require permission to access your photo library; the selected image is uploaded as part of your card.

06Payments & service providers

Online payments may be processed by Razorpay. Manual UPI payments require transaction-reference information to verify your purchase. Payment providers process information under their own privacy policies; do not send us your UPI PIN, banking password, or one-time password.

Where configured, transactional email is delivered through Emergent Agent’s email integration. Hosting, database, and email providers may process information necessary to store data and deliver the service.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect the service and its users. This policy does not cover third-party websites you open from a QR code or a digital card.

07Data security & retention

The application uses measures such as password hashing, token-based authentication, and restricted administrative access. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Keep your account credentials and card-editing keys private.

Account, card, order, and activity records are stored on the service. There is no automatic deletion schedule specified in the current application. You may contact us to request deletion or ask about retention; some records may need to be retained for payment reconciliation, security, disputes, or legal obligations.

Locally stored QR history remains on your device until you clear it or remove the relevant app or browser data. Clearing local history does not delete your account, public cards, or order records.

08Your choices & rights

Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can also:

• Choose what information to include in a digital visiting card.
• Update card details using your available card-editing access.
• Clear locally stored QR history and manage device permissions.
• Ask about the information held for your account or request account or card removal.

Account and card deletion are handled by request rather than an automatic self-service deletion tool. Visit the Delete Account page at /delete-account for email request instructions. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Where applicable, you may raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.

09Children’s privacy

QR Card Pro is not designed specifically for children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action under applicable law.

10Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be available on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
